Mitigating Post-Harvest Losses (PHLs) and Alleviating Rural Poverty: Strategies for a Resilient and Sustainable Agrifood Ecosystem.

Ensuring a ready market, incorporating value-addition, and leveraging technology are pivotal strategies we deploy to eradicate post-harvest losses and reduce rural poverty. AceAgric actively combats food-crops loss by offering comprehensive support to cooperative groups, logistics service providers, small-batch food processors, and smallholder farmers. Our approach involves not only providing market support but also extending non-market assistance to various stakeholders. Furthermore, we empower farmers to minimize on-the-farm losses through hands-on training in GAPs and climate-smart production, efficient harvest techniques, and targeted PHLs reduction strategies. Through these interventions, we strive to create a more resilient and sustainable agrifood ecosystem.

Empowering Farmers for Resilient and Sustainable Agriculture

Transitioning from the Traditional Linear Model of Resource Utilization

At AceAgric, we advocate for a transformative approach to resource management, focus on waste reduction, facilitate the circulation of products and materials, and support the regeneration of natural ecosystems. Together with our strategic partners, we provide a framework to address pressing global issues such as climate change, natural resource depletion, biodiversity loss, and pollution by decoupling economic activities from the consumption of finite resources. Through a transition towards Circularity as a Business Model, AceAgric promotes resilience and delivers value to businesses, communities, and the environment. Diverging from the traditional system, we prioritize waste/loss prevention by integrating circularity principles in product design, material recovery, and waste management practices. Embracing the circular economy paradigm allows us to cultivate a robust system that fosters economic prosperity, facilitates job creation, and ensures environmental sustainability within our ecosystem. This approach offers a robust solution to interconnected challenges, providing pathways to achieve sustainable development goals.
